Typically, if you're looking for something, you should always check your couch cushions. A lot of things could be hiding in there: a phone, your wallet, your car keys, the remote, or maybe a fugitive.

Police in Citrus County, Florida were on the hunt for a 39-year-old woman named Stacy Usher who was wanted on a parole violation for selling fentanyl.

They searched Stacy's home last Tuesday (11/21/23), and couldn't find her anywhere until they lifted up the couch cushions and checked the couch.

Turns out, she was in fact there, hiding inside the couch.

It wasn't revealed whether authorities were tipped off to her being there, or if checking the couch was a standard part of the investigation process.

In addition to the drugs and the parole violation, she has a history of fraud grand theft, and passing bad checks.

Below is a photo of Stacy being discovered in the couch.
