Strawberry has had a rough life. When the two-year-old pit bull was about to be euthanized in a shelter, she was covered in mange and had two large lumps on her head. But a foundation rescued her, and cleaned her up. The bumps were just scar tissue from a previous injury, but they were so big they called her their “unicorn dog.” They were afraid no one would adopt her and posted: “We love our little unicorn just the way she is. We want to find someone who feels the same.” It didn’t take long for a local family with twin children to take home Strawberry the Unicorn Dog…who is now surrounded by lots of love and attention.
