During yesterday's Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest, Joey Chestnut put a protester who rushed the stage in a brief chokehold -- WHILE competing... and WON.
Chestnut arrived to the Nathan's Famous competition suffering from a ruptured tendon in his leg. Shortly after limping to the stage and after the hot dog-eating commenced, a protester wearing a Darth Vader mask rushed the stage.
You can't make this stuff up. 🤷♀️
Joey ended up consuming 63 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to earn his 15th victory. He may also have a second career as an MMA fighter.
