An E.coli outbreak in six states has been linked to ground beef found in HelloFresh meal kits. Seven people have reported falling ill so far, with six of them hospitalized. Cases have been reported in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington. The 10-ounce vacuum-sealed bags of 85% lean ground beef were included in various meal kits shipped between July 2nd and July 21st. HelloFresh is a popular meal prep delivery service that sends customers ingredients and recipes to prepare a meal at home. I love Hello Fresh, but just be careful to read ALL packaging dates on all food items.
